The Parish Council has been made aware that following the County Council’s consultation on the 20mph proposal, objections & concerns have been received. The agenda for Oxfordshire County Council’s Decisions Meeting – Cabinet Member for Transport Management has now been finalised and the proposals will be presented to the Cabinet Member for Transport Management at a public meeting at 10am on Thursday 18th July 2024.

Proceedings Are Open to The Public:


Council meetings are taking place in-person, however meetings will continue to be live-streamed. Persons wishing to view the proceedings and/or make representations to the Cabinet Member, will be able to do so online using Microsoft Teams.

To view proceedings, please click on the Live Stream Link (available on the relevant meeting page). That will not allow you to participate in the meeting.


Attending the Meeting and Making Representations:
If you wish to attend this meeting in person OR address the meeting (either verbally or via written submission), you must contact the Committee Officer by 9am four working days before the meeting i.e. Friday 12th July The relevant committee Officer will then advise if you can be accommodated at this meeting:


1. Requests to speak should be sent to committeesdemocraticservices@Oxfordshire.gov.uk


2. A written copy of your statement should be provided no later than two working days before the meeting (i.e. 9am Tuesday 16th July).


3. Where a meeting is either “virtual” or “hybrid” (i.e., attendance can be either in person or virtual), and the addressee is unable to participate remotely, their written submission will be accepted.


4. Written submissions should be no longer than one side of an A4 sheet of paper.
Replies to Objections to Proposals:


Each response to a consultation will have been reviewed and appraised by County Council Officers and will be included in the report that will be presented to the Cabinet Member for Transport Management. However, it may be that you will not have received a reply to your response. Any responses that were unable to be included within the report will have been appraised by Officers and will be presented verbally during the meeting if necessary.


Decision publication:
The final decisions made at the meeting, as well as the official minutes will be made available on the specific meetings page (see link above) in the days following the meeting.
