Local Clubs

Friday Mornings, 9.30am–11.30am, Term Time in Appleton Village Hall.

All parents and carers are welcome with their newborns to preschoolers to join this friendly group.

Expect a morning of music, crafts, toys and refreshments.It’s a great place to meet others and perfect when your little one is looking for a bit more stimulation.

  We’re a relaxed and friendly group for children from birth to school age, and we’re always happy to see new faces. We have:

·       Lots of toys, games and apparatus

·       Weekly craft activity

·       Outside play on warmer days

·       Snack time, when all the children sit together

·       Led group singing session, or other activity such as yoga or movement

·       Lots of coffee, tea and nibbles for the parents

·       Themed parties (Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Summer)

·       Social events for parents and carers (such as the Christmas meal out)

We ask for £2.00 per child (£2.50 for two children or more). You’re welcome to turn up to any session, but if you have any questions feel free to get in touch.

The group would welcome local volunteers to join in and help with this valued resource for the youngest members of our community, together with their parents and carers.

Volunteering could involve anything from making tea and coffee, helping with getting the hall ready, or welcoming newcomers. 

 You might like to help on the craft table or join in the music and singing session with the little ones at the end of each session.
